Initially dealing with a traditional and manual process of loan application screening, CIMB wanted to enhance its backend operations. Open to working with technology vendors, the bank decided to partner up with technology company DataRobot in incorporating an AI-based solution for screening applications for unsecured loan product offerings at the bank.
