Julie Koo

Allianz Global Investors has appointed Julie Koo as head of distribution for Asia-Pacific. She will lead the development and growth of AllianzGI’s business in the region, where the firm is actively managing US$134 billion of client assets as of December 2025.

Based in Hong Kong, Koo will join the company on May 1st and become a member of executive committee, reporting to chief executive officer Tobias Pross.

Koo brings over three decades of international experience in institutional and wealth management across Asia, Europe, and North America. Her expertise encompasses business strategy, client relationship management, team leadership, and product development within top-tier global firms.

She joins AllianzGI from Citi Wealth, where she served as head of partnerships and relationship management.
